The Club aims to take part in a number of external events annually. A Selection Committee choose the Club's entries from images previously entered into the Club's internal competitions. This is why it is very important that members take part in Internal Competitions, both to gain experience and to increase the range of images available to the Selection Committee.
The Club appoints an External Competitions Secretary who will liaise with external bodies and is available to advise Members.
Still to come is our annual match with Milngavie & Bearsden.

The 2023 Four-way club competition was hosted by Stirling Camera Club on 22nd November, with each club entering five prints and ten digital images The judge Stewart Dodd.
On a night where many photos were being awarded top points, the final totals were

Falkirk
Camera Club:                                  286
Kirkintilloch Kirkintilloch Camera Club:       282
Cumbernauld & Kilsyth PS:                        272
A tie-breaker was agreed that, since Stirling had more "20" scores, they took first place. Stirling had seven '20s', Falkirk had six, while we had five for the digital images: Art Attack, Kelpies in the Wild, Speeding on Sauchiehall St, Emerald Green Dragonfly and Great White in Profile.
