The camera club starts on Monday 14th September with a "Welcome Evening" via Zoom. There is not a speaker on this occasion and the evening will be an update on what's been happening during the lockdown. This will take the form of two parts, with the first being an update regarding the club premises and this being followed by a selection of members images taken during lockdown. This informal evening also gives us an opportunity to iron out any issues with regard to using Zoom.
Monday the 21th September we have a talk by Clive Watkins entitled "Monochrome my way". Clive is current president of Irvine Camera club & has previously judged at Kirkintilloch.
On Monday 28th September we are joined by Richard O'Brien who is a new speaker to the club. One benefit of Zoom is the ability to have speakers from around the UK. Richard's presentation is titled "History Recoloured" Richard is based in Harrogate, Yorkshire.
Details regarding Zoom will be forwarded to participants prior to meetings by email. In this connection annual subscriptions are due now. Details are on the club website regarding amounts and payment method. Non members (subject to numbers) are welcome to join us for individual presentations at a cost of £3.00. Requests to join each week to Lynne Watson, club secretary by email to Payment through PayPal at once you have received confirmation of booking.
Our syllabus is on the website this year and will not be printed as it is subject to change due to the uncertainty we are in at the present time. Some speakers previously booked are unable or not willing to use Zoom. The online version will be updated as and when required.
