I enclose a copy of the syllabus for the forthcoming season, which commences on Monday 6th September. Due to the Covid restrictions the committee decided at the AGM to hold all meetings via Zoom, till January 2022, when we hope to return to the clubhouse. Our first night back on the 6th September will be an informal social night, in which we will review last year’s activities, update everyone with any developments that have happened over the summer break and welcome any new members to the club. We will also enjoy viewing images taken by the members over the summer months.
As per our AGM in April, the annual subscription fees have been increased, this is the first increase in many years and will be as follows:
Full Membership £60 60+ or unwaged Membership £50 Joint Membership (21-59) £82.50 Joint Membership (60+) £67.50 Junior Membership (20 & below) £20
Membership must be paid up by 6th September, please send a confirmation email to Henry ( and myself, on receipt we will then confirm membership and send out the relevant information for our Zoom meeting. Please remember subscriptions must now be paid by bank transfer, details of the clubs bank account can be found on our new website,, under the heading of Club Documents. As the club is a registered charity we can claim Gift Aid on the cost of the annual subscriptions. The only requirement is that you are a UK tax payer, so if you haven’t already completed a form please can you obtain a form from Henry our Treasurer and return to him once completed.
The committee have decided to open up our weekly talks to non members for a weekly fee of £3 so if any friends and family would like to join us for a particular talk them please ask them to contact me in the first instance.
